Local SEO for Your Website

Local SEO is searched by the majority of companies looking or SEO, rather than searching for SEO that is most relevant for their business needs. For example some companies will specialise in building backlinks whilst developing other SEO techniques, but not being as experienced in those other SEO aspects.
Therefore, a lot of companies that search for the local SEO companies to undertake their SEO campaign can be hiring the wrong SEO company.
Obviously hiring a local SEO company can have it's benefits, as well as the disadvantages (already mentioned). These include being able to have regular meetings face to face if needed. There is also a 'trust' element that comes with the fact that an SEO company is local.

However, the overall aim of the SEO strategy is the most important aspect when hiring a SEO company, not whether or not if the company is local. There is a mis-conception of finding an SEO company that is further away from home, which can be detramental to the outcomes of your SEO campaign.

My personal advice is to ensure that the company your looking to hire is experienced and have proven results of other SEO campaigns and find out what different companies think about what your website needs in order to generate traffic. This way you can then get a clearer picture as to what needs doing for your website.

Remember Never trust a company that guarantees for your website to be number 1 on Google or pays for backlinks for your website. If they do guarantee number 1 on Google, the keywords that they target will more than likely be unworthy of being number 1 on Google. In other words the amount of people searching a specific term maybe very few or none at all, therefore, not worthy.
